Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though not the one we initially booked, were equipped with a fridge and microwave and located close to all destinations. However, the TV was too loud in the early morning hours, and the open-air setting was enjoyable.
The hotel is conveniently located next to Old Town station and provides easy access to the freeway. The rooms weren't great due to stained sheets from a water leak, and they felt a bit small for the price. The service was very friendly and considerate, especially the staff during the PM shift. The dining options were average, mainly consisting of a simple paper bag breakfast. The location was good, close to the Kobe swap meet and within easy reach of San Diego attractions. However, the lack of dining variety and the room conditions were notable drawbacks.
The hotel had some positives, like clean rooms with two queen beds, but it fell short in providing the needed accommodations for a disabled family member prompting an early checkout. The service was mixed, with helpful staff like Yhover assisting with room changes but overall lacked friendliness. The location was convenient for the airport with nearby stores, yet the noisy neighborhood and parking issues detracted from the experience.
